Sealmother

Selamóðir (eng. Sealmother, mother of the seals in Icelandic) is an Icelandic folktale monster. She is bigger than a regular seal, and her back resembles an island when she's in the sea.
This 3d model was one of 10 monsters in a kinectic project about Icelandic folktale monsters, made by me and my second year classmates at Reykjavik Academy of Digital Entertainment (RADE), for the National Museum of Iceland, in fall 2018.

Sculpting done in Zbrush, textures/material in Substance Painter, rendering and enviroment in Unreal Engine, minor light effect on first picture with Photoshop.
